
Service scheduling and technician assignments can now be handled easily in a drag/drop scheduler board that runs in a web browser. This powerful browser-based service scheduler is targeted to dispatchers and service managers to allow you to make better scheduling decisions. The scheduler board is integrated as a tab within a Dispatch Portal. This includes: intuitive viewing and editing of scheduled SouthWare service orders via a web browser, seeing services work and calendars from multiple views, complete fast reassignments and rescheduling using your mouse or keyboard and viewing efficient summary views with instant access to details via the popup tool tip box. Users can easily view all service orders by technician, territory and location and use the light box to modify the dates/times or technician assigned to the service order.

The Inventory Admin Portal will help you setup your users for Pick/Ship and physical inventory scanning they will perform. Warehouse workers can now use handheld devices with browser capabilities to enter/scan item numbers, get alerts and warnings, enter batch IDs, enter and scan SIDs, log errors and activity, review counts for items, scan tracking numbers and serial numbers and receive the latest SouthWare updates. When you are scanning pick/ship items with a handheld scanner you may now default the quantity to "1" and have the program accumulate the quantities scanned. This minimizes the need for any entry of quantities on the handheld unit and reduces errors.
Your order processing people and warehouse workers can now scan, record, and review the items they pick and ship for orders via any browser-based handheld device. Workers can list assigned S/Os, add parts, service and text, finish and update statuses, list and review equipment, review S/O history for customers, review S/O totals and view the current S/Os. The Order Picking/Shipping feature is packaged as a NetLink-enabled application.
The Pick/Ship Admin Portal will help you setup your users for the type of scanning they will perform. In the Pick/Ship Admin portal you can view logging activity for individual users or for all users.
Your service technicians can now review and update their service orders using phones, PDAs, or other internet-enabled handheld devices. While they are out of the office they have instant access to current service order assignments and all related information via the browser on their handheld device. This offers a safe, secure, easy-to-use way for your technicians to access all the info they need to do their job. It also allows them to instantly and accurately record the parts and labor they use on each assignment. The Remote Service Tech feature is packaged as a NetLink-enabled application.

Your warehouse workers can now record physical counts of inventory via any browser-based handheld device. The Physical Counts feature is packaged as a NetLink-enabled application.

Your order processing people and warehouse workers can now scan, record, and review the items they pick and ship for orders via any browser-based handheld device. As they process each picking ticket, they can scan or enter the items to update SouthWare’s Picking/Shipping subsystem.
SouthWare's TaskWise module interfaces with e-mails, contacts, tasks and appointments. This new administrator portal makes administering the interface much easier. The portal brings together all the pieces of the TaskWise Outlook interface into one portal so you can easily administer the options.
SouthWare's TaskWise module can monitor Outlook mailboxes and create tasks for each e-mail in those mailboxes. This allows you to easily archive e-mail sent from your company and also automatically create tasks for certain e-mails. SouthWare's TaskWise module can automatically create contacts, tasks, and appointments in Outlook from TaskWise contacts and tasks. Users can now view and add contact notes from Live Portals.

With the Collections Live Portal, you can quickly identify the customers that need collection attention based on alerts, scheduled calls, past due commitments, past due balances, etc. You can then zoom to the Customer Collection Portal to research and record your collection follow-up efforts.

NetLink now allows further control over user accounts. E-mails can be stored for NetLink requestors, and NetLink will now send a password reset link to stored e-mails if an employee, customer or vendor’s password is forgotten. NetLink will also now allow you to set up password requirements in order to increase security, safety and protection. You can also choose to lockout accounts for a specified number of minutes after 4 invalid login attempts.
